Y’know, ‘cause, believe it or not, body types other than Mako’s exist and frankly Mako isn’t anywhere near as adorable.

“Mary Sue” is thrown around way too much and half the time people don’t even know what the hell it means. If Asami was a Mary Sue, chances are the plot would have steered itself more in her favor. Instead, her father tries to kill her, her boyfriend abandons her for another girl and she pretty much has nothing.

Don’t get me wrong, Mako and Korra deserve each other because they’re both kinda jerks.

EDIT: Oh, troll post. I knew no one could prefer Mako over Bolin. It defies the known laws of the universe.

The next season of The Legend of Korra will be a serious commentary on racism.

Armed with a flashlight, the new villain will shine light directly onto Korra’s face—causing her skin to look somewhat paler than it would under normal circumstances—as part of his bigoted whitewashing agenda.

Faced with a foe whose dastardly magic could offend her sensibilities at will, the Avatar would be at a loss until the legendary cougar lizard rose up from the sea and taught her the forgotten art of lightbending. With her new-found ability to bend light waves away from her body, she would be able to remain the exact same shade no matter what the lighting conditions were like around her.

And thus Republic City would be free from all the evil white jerkbenders.
